DAILY RACING PREVIEW BY ANDY HOLDING
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 13
12.50 SEDGEFIELD
Any significant rainfall in the Durham area puts a slight question mark over the suitability to the ground regards the chances of NATIONAL QUESTION (best price 7-2) following up his recent Newcastle success but hopefully he proves adaptable if conditions do change.
What we do know for certain is Adam Nicol’s inmate arrives here via a career high effort at the Gosforth Park venue two weeks ago and that view was backed up by the excellent figure he posted for the grade.
Appearing to score with a bit up his sleeve, he still gets the chance to race off a bargain basement mark and hailing from a yard in decent form at present (3-13 in the last two weeks), the son of Fracas can easily keep the ball rolling over a C&D where he has gone well in the past.
NATIONAL QUESTION – 1-point win@7-2

WELCOME ABOARD was a big eye-catcher when last seen running here back in mid-summer and despite dropping back down in trip, a chance is taken on Aidan Howard’s inmate being fit enough to do himself justice.
Having his first try in handicap company at the Kildare track, he looked up against it as the field turned out of the back straight, but he came home with such purpose, he eventually picked up the pieces into third place, which had to go down as a massive improvement on his three previous starts.
Clearly staying the three miles well that day, he now faces a different test over half a mile shorter but being as conditions are likely to be extremely testing come the last race, hopefully his stamina will prove a key factor.
WELCOME ABOARD – ½ point each-way@15-2 (five places)
