Moreover, his victory at Hexham last time out was yet another reminder a strongly two-miles suits him well and it would be a surprise if he doesn’t breach his current rating and beyond in due course.

CAVE ARTICLE (best price 11-4) looked on good terms with life when scoring in tidy fashion at Southwell last time out and with that victory taking his tally to two wins in his last three starts, Christian Williams’ inmate is fancied to continue the good work.
The son of Court Cave found the necessary improvement for first-time cheekpieces at Hereford back in April and although he failed in his bid to follow up at Warwick in the interim, he didn’t have to wait too long before getting back on track.
Taking a while to find his stride at the Midland venue 27 days ago, he ended up being totally dominant late on and given how much his trainer’s staying chasers often have left in their locker, his winning spree may not be finished just yet.
