DUBAI CHAMPION turned in quite an impressive display both visually and on the clock at Hamilton last time out and having been handed what appears to be a workable mark on handicap debut, Ben Haslam’s colt can take full advantage.
The son of Persian Force helped push the pace along through to halfway at the Scottish venue but once getting into the guts of the race late on, he really began to open up and by the time he had hit the line, he managed to pull nicely clear to the tune of three lengths.
Posting a very smart speed figure for a race of its kind, he clearly is a very sharp juvenile and having already tasted experience of racing over today’s course on debut, he can pull all the strands together to register win number two.

MISS ATTITUDE didn’t have events fall in her favour in the King Charles at Royal Ascot but there was more than enough in her performance to suggest brighter days await and she is taken as the value solution in her bid to go one place better than she did in this race last season.
Being slowly away in a race where fine margins where likely to make all the different was obviously to her detriment but there was plenty to like about the way she finished off her race from halfway and by the time she had hit the line, she had managed to take plenty of notable scalps along the way.
A similar tardy beginning proved her downfall in the Palace House Stakes, so it is a habit that could potentially derail her once again, but she hasn’t become a serial offender just yet and a chance is taken on her getting a relatively clean getaway and run as well as she did behind Washington Heights last season.

GREAT ACCLAIM has been as reliable as a Swiss clock is races of this nature in recent times and another positive result looks on the cards following on from excellent display in the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot last month.
Eve Johnson Houghton’s gelding arrived at the Berkshire venue primed after finishing runner-up in the Victoria Cup over the same C&D the previous month and once again he proved that a well-run, big-field seven-furlong handicap suits him ideally.
Although he couldn’t quite match the finishing burst of the winner, Mezcala, he wasn’t exactly stopping either as he hit the line and having run well over today’s C&D in the past, there is every reason to feel upbeat about his chances.

How clean a horse is out of the gates is probably more important than the actual draw here on the Roodee and in the hope that MYAL breaks well to obtain a good early position, Steph Hollinshead’s gelding is fancied to back up his previous C&D win.
Looking at the 0-20mph patterns of today’s field, the son of Al Kazeem scores well on that metric, often breaking no worse than third best in his races, and it was noticeable that he jumped on the bunny when being fully effective rounded the tight contours of the C&D when landing a competitive handicap last May.
So far this season, the five-year-old has managed to score once in three starts, his victory coming courtesy of a very fast speed figure at Thirsk and although no match for Lake Forest at Haydock when last seen, it is probably fair to say there isn’t a horse of that calibre in today’s line-up.

SATONO REVE ultimately was done few favours with the draw at Royal Ascot and providing today’s contest offers a more level playing field, the Japanese raider rates a strong choice to gain compensation.
Unlike most of the sprint races over the five days at the Berkshire venue, the action developed down the centre of the course and housed in stall 18 of 18, he was left to row his own boat for majority of the six-furlong journey.
The fact he managed to muscle his way over towards the far side and force a photo with those more favourably drawn was testimony to his class and there is no reason why he won’t prove to be the best of those who contested the Group 1 a month ago.
Of the three who did triumph at the Royal meeting, Mission Central could easily prove to be the biggest threat and considering how hard he hit the line over five furlongs in the King Charles, an extra furlong could bring about even further improvement.
