DAILY RACING PREVIEW BY ANDY HOLDING

WEDNESDAY MARCH 18

7.30 KEMPTON

Not too many obvious selections jumped off the page today but at least SERENITY DREAM has a reasonable amount of logic attach to his claims and he deserves a small interest on a day just to keep the betting terminals turning over.

The main reason for siding with Tony Carroll’s inmate stems from his useful record around today’s track and his form figures that read 1212 were enhanced by his latest effort over the C&D three weeks ago.

Perfectly poised to challenge at the cutaway, unfortunately, so too was main market rival, Combustion, and despite seeing his race out perfectly well, he came out second best in the dash to the line.

He did, however, post another smart speed figure at a track that clearly suits his eye, and a performance of a similar magnitude should be suffice in his bid to notch up course win number three.

SERENITY DREAM – 1-point win@ 9-4
